Many people can talk, but only a few chosen people can really SPEAK! Ti Tucker and JVM Productions present Central Illinois’ SPEAK THAT! Spoken Word Explosion, featuring Grammy® and Peabody® Award Winning Spoken Word Poet/Writer Malik Yusef. Malik has been featured on HBO, VH-1, BET, MTV, on the big screen and all over the world. But, for one night only, he will be performing in Bloomington at the Castle Theatre! Maybe you have heard him on the albums of his close friends, Kanye West and Common, who are also featured on his upcoming album, “G.O.O.D. Morning, G.O.O.D. Night” (GOOD Music). On this night, he will be alongside some of Illinois’ best spoken word artists. This explosive event will be hosted by Actor/Comedian/Poet LaRoyce Hawkins, who was featured in the Universal Picture Film, “The Express,” Tyler Perry’s “House of Payne” and ABC’s “Detroit 187.” Other performers include Hip Hop Artist/Poet/Writer A.D. Carson, Spoken Word Artist Moshie, Hip Hop Recording Artists Merchant Boyz and Recording Artist Kendall Anders. Music will be provided by WXRJ, 94.9 FM’s Rated AG Entertainment. Limited V.I.P. tickets are available that include a catered Meet-and-Greet with all performers prior to the show, priority V.I.P. seating and access into the official after-party at Central Station from 10-1 (tickets available at the door). You don’t want to miss the show or after-party! Now, SPEAK THAT!
